The Epsilon Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. made history on Feb. 12 at the annual Texas Council of Alpha Chapters Convention. For the first time, the organization was awarded outstanding chapter of the year and chapter president Trey Wilson was awarded Brother of the Year and announced as second-place winner of the Belford V. Lawson Oratorical Contest.

�������鸣��һ�������鶹 Television Productions is pleased to present the premiere of their documentary, “They Will Talk About Us: The Charlton-Pollard Story,” which chronicles the origins of one of the oldest Black neighborhoods in Beaumont, Texas. The film screening will be held at the Jefferson Theatre on Friday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Challenge accepted! On Thursday, Feb. 17, �������鸣��һ�������鶹 is joining over 300 colleges and universities nationwide to participate in “Delight-Ful,” an event focused on celebrating, encouraging and carrying out random acts of kindness across the country.

�������鸣��һ�������鶹 is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors of the International Pipe Line & Offshore Contractors Association has approved the LU Center for Midstream Management and Science’s application to become an academic member of the international organization. As one in four universities in the organization and the only academic member in the United States, LU joins Gubkin University (Russia), Ghent University (Belgium) and Cranfield University (United Kingdom).
