Our department offers two theatrical performance stages, and we frequently bring in nationally renowned guest artists to direct and choreograph our students.

In a small American town that feels oddly familiar, ordinary lives unfold in extraordinary ways. Middletown follows the intersecting paths of its residents—an expectant mother, a lonely handyman, a librarian, a cop—as they navigate the quiet joys, absurdities, and deep questions of existence. With poetic language and gentle humor, Will Eno’s acclaimed play explores the beauty and sadness of everyday life, capturing the mysterious in the mundane.
Both deeply human and subtly cosmic, Middletown invites us to reflect on connection, isolation, and what it means simply to be alive.
